Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart Nairobi early for a scenic drive down into the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly to admire the panoramic views. Continue onward to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving before lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive to encounter the spectacular wildlife that defines this renowned park. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Spend a full day exploring Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. Morning and afternoon game drives will immerse you in the vast landscapes of the Masai Mara, where you can expect sightings of Africa’s Big Five alongside a wide variety of other animals. Optional activities include a breathtaking hot-air balloon safari over the Mara or a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Return to camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Lake Nakuru. Along the way, you can opt to visit a Maasai village (additional $20 per person) to experience traditional dances and learn about their culture before continuing.
