Day-by-Day Itinerary
Welcome to Kenya! A representative from Let's Venture Africa will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. After a quick safari briefing, you'll head to Masai Mara, known for the spectacular Great Migration where over 1 million wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River. We'll make a stop at the stunning Great Rift Valley viewpoint before continuing to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the park.
Today is the day your African dream about Masai Mara comes true. You will have breakfast at your camp then leave for a full game-viewing drive inside the park. You will have a picnic lunch along Mara River then continue with your game. Later at around 4:00 pm, you will return to your camp.
Today, after breakfast, you’ll have a leisurely morning at the lodge, or head for an optional Masai Village visit.
In the late morning, check out from the lodge and begin the 5-hour drive to Lake Nakuru. The journey passes through more scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. You’ll have a lunch break along the way before arriving in Nakuru in the afternoon. Once you check into your lodge, you can relax or take a short walk around the area
After breakfast, you will embark on an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, taking advantage of the cooler hours to spot the wildlife. You explore the lakeshore, waterfalls, and forested areas while enjoying excellent birdwatching opportunities. After the game drive, you exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with wonderful safari memories and the end of your 4-day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari.
